On the afternoon of December 3, Chen Gang, a researcher at the Institute of agricultural quality standards and testing technology, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, was invited to attend the frontier scientific report of the Academy Application in dairy quality and safety. The meeting was presided over by Li Guoliang, vice president of the College of food and bioengineering. Due to the impact of the epidemic situation, the report was carried out online and offline.
At the report meeting, researcher Chen Gang first took the key quality and safety issues in domestic dairy production as the breakthrough point, and explained in detail the risk points of quality and safety problems in all aspects from raw milk, processing and production to storage, transportation and sales. Then, the application of multi omics technologies such as lipomics, proteomics and metabonomics in dairy quality and safety and the related innovative achievements were introduced.
After the report meeting, researcher Chen Gang communicated with the teachers and students on the spot on relevant issues, and discussed and answered the questions on dairy products. Finally, Professor Li Guoliang made a concluding speech and expressed sincere thanks to researcher Chen Gang. This academic exchange activity is a complete success, teachers and students benefit a lot, open up a scientific vision in the direction of dairy quality and safety.
Chen Gang, researcher and doctoral supervisor, Institute of agricultural quality standards and testing technology, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. He is currently a member of the Chinese Veterinary Pharmacopoeia Committee, a member of the veterinary drug evaluation committee of the Ministry of agriculture, a member of the national veterinary drug residue control committee, a member of the national drug resistance control committee, and an expert of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He graduated from Agricultural University of Sweden; Since the beginning of 2008, he has worked in the Institute of agricultural quality standards and testing technology, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences; He was employed as a researcher in 2014. The main research directions are the development of detection technology of chemical pollutants in animal products, toxicological metabolism research and authenticity identification technology of animal products. In recent years, he has presided over 4 general projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 international cooperation project of Ministry of science and technology, 1 European Union seventh framework plan project, 1 Sino British BBSRC international cooperation project, 2 International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), and more than 10 agricultural industry standard projects. He has published more than 30 SCI papers as the first or corresponding author, published 5 agricultural industry standards and 5 authorized invention patents.
